Astro Bouldering Pad

The Astro is our premium, all-round bouldering pad.

The Astro is a versatile all-rounder designed to form the foundation of your pad set up.

The Astro features two layers of open cell foam, with a layer of closed cell foam sandwiched between. This provides a solid, stable platform for landings. We sourced high quality foam that gives great durability and resistance to compression over time. 

The Astro has a traditional rucksack carry system and 3 large grab handles for easy transport. The large rear flap system covers the rucksack straps when the pad is on the ground. This helps keep moisture and dirt off the user's back at the end of a session. The flap also enables additional mats to be carried during the walk-in. Multiple smaller mats or another full size mat can be carried within the flap. A chunky steel buckle keeps everything secure.

We use super durable 1000d recycled ballistic nylon fabric for the main body of the pad. The sublimated abstract print adds some space-age vibes and gives the Astro its interstellar themed name.
